With a straight stairlift, the chair only moves on one plane (up or down along a straight rail). With a curved stairlift, there’s more complexity because the chair must move around corners and in some cases navigate tight turns.

Our straight stairlifts start at £990 and our curved stairlifts start at £2950 (for a reconditioned stairlift). If you’re buying new, straight stairlifts start at £1350 and curved at £3990.
The average cost of a stairlift will range between £1500 to £8000, according to your staircase layout and preferences. With new stairlifts, there’s optional extras, including colour choice and even customisable rail colours with certain models. Extra features include things such as electric automatic swivel seat and push button folding. Certain models, such as the Flow X Stairlift also have the option of emergency phone calls from your chair, in case you ever need it!
