Can Stairlifts Be Reused?
Not all stairlifts are of value for reuse however. But certain stairlift makes and models are in high demand. For example, these are some of the makes we use for our reconditioned stairlifts range:
- Stannah 600
- Stannah 260
- Thyssen-Krupp Flow 2a
- Thyssen-Krupp Flow X
If you have one of these models you should definitely get in touch, because you can sell your stairlift. Depending on the condition, make and model of your stairlift you can sell a stairlift for up to £500 in some circumstances.

What If My Stairlift Cannot Be Reused?
If you don’t have a model which we personally re-use for our refurbished stairlift range, you can either recycle or dispose of it. Most stairlift removal companies will charge for this service if they cannot use the stairlift for either parts or reconditioning.
- If we can recondition your stairlift we will pay for it.
- If parts are worth something to us, we may offer to remove it for free
- If we cannot use any part of your stairlift, we will charge a removal fee.
How Much Is A Second Hand Stairlift Worth?
- We pay up to £300 for second hand Stannah 600 (straight)
- We pay up to £400 for a used Stannah 260 (curved)
- Thyssen Flow X – up to £1,000
- Flow 2a – up to £500, depending on age and condition and (must have full ASL swivel function).
Other stairlifts we are interested in are:
- Acorn 180, Brooks 180, (straight stairlifts)
- Handicare 1100’s
Price will depend on age and condition of the stairlift and how in-demand they are at the time of enquiry.
