UK Stairlifts Relocates to New Premises in Leeds
It was all hands on deck for the move, which we managed to spread out to minimise the disruption! I even pulled my back out – those stairlifts are heavy! Don’t try this at home folks!
Although our location has changed, our commitment remains the same: providing reliable, affordable stairlifts, professional installation and excellent customer service.
A New Home for UK Stairlifts in Leeds
Our move to Leeds represents an exciting step forward for UK Stairlifts, a company with over 20 years of experience in the stairlift industry.
Over the years, we’ve helped customers throughout the UK find practical solutions to mobility challenges in their homes. From straightforward installations to more complicated staircases requiring specialist equipment, our focus has always been on finding the right stairlift for each individual customer.
Our new Leeds premises provide a base from which we can continue delivering these services, supporting both new and existing customers.
While we’re now based in West Yorkshire’s largest city, our services remain available nationwide.
Over 20 Years of Stairlift Experience
Choosing a stairlift is an important decision, particularly when it involves helping an elderly relative or someone experiencing reduced mobility.
Customers understandably want reassurance that they’re dealing with an established, experienced company that will provide the right equipment and ongoing support.
At UK Stairlifts, we have more than two decades of experience supplying and installing stairlifts, including many installations where standard solutions simply aren’t suitable including stairlifts for narrow/awkward stairs.
Our experience allows us to recommend stairlifts based on the individual requirements of the customer, the dimensions and layout of their staircase, and the practical challenges involved.
We’re also proud to be recognised by Which? Trusted Traders and Checkatrade, reflecting our commitment to professional standards and customer service.
Specialists in Reconditioned Stairlifts
One of our main areas of expertise is supplying and installing reconditioned stairlifts.
We believe that a professionally reconditioned stairlift can provide an excellent alternative to purchasing a brand-new model, offering significant savings without compromising on reliability.
Rather than supplying every available make and model, we concentrate on established stairlift manufacturers with proven reputations for quality and durability.
These include models from Stannah and ThyssenKrupp Access, which we’ve found to be particularly reliable through years of practical experience.
Our reconditioned stairlifts are professionally prepared for installation and supplied with a two-year warranty covering parts, labour and call-outs, giving customers additional peace of mind.
This commitment to quality and after-sales support remains central to our business following our move to Leeds.
Finding Solutions for Difficult and Narrow Staircases
Another important part of our work involves helping customers who have been told that their staircase may be unsuitable for a conventional stairlift.
Our engineers regularly deal with narrow staircases, awkward bends, restricted landings and other challenging layouts.
In many cases, specialist equipment or carefully planned installation techniques can make a stairlift possible where a standard installation would be difficult.
We have particular experience with stairlifts for narrow stairs, including specialist curved models designed to operate in restricted spaces.
Our approach is to assess each staircase individually and recommend a practical solution rather than simply offering a standard product.
It’s this specialist knowledge that has helped establish UK Stairlifts as a company customers can turn to when they need something more than an ordinary stairlift installation.
Nationwide Stairlift Installation from Our Leeds Base
Although our business is now located in Leeds, UK Stairlifts continues to provide stairlift installation services throughout the UK.
Our engineers install a wide range of stairlifts, including:
- Straight stairlifts for conventional staircases.
- Curved stairlifts for staircases with bends and turns.
- Reconditioned stairlifts offering excellent value for money.
- Specialist stairlifts for narrow or awkward staircases.
- Heavy-duty stairlifts for customers requiring higher weight capacities.
- Outdoor stairlifts for external steps and staircases.
We also provide stairlift servicing, repairs and removal services, helping customers with their stairlifts beyond the initial installation.
For customers requiring a stairlift urgently, we can often arrange installation at short notice, depending on the equipment required and the staircase configuration.
The Same Commitment to Customer Service
Moving premises is an important development for any business, but for our customers, the things that matter most remain unchanged.
We continue to offer honest advice, carefully selected stairlift equipment, professional installation and dependable after-sales support.
We understand that purchasing a stairlift is often prompted by a change in someone’s mobility or personal circumstances. For many families, finding a suitable solution quickly and at an affordable price is particularly important.
Our aim is to make the process as straightforward as possible, from the initial enquiry and staircase survey through to installation and ongoing support.
