Second Hand Stairlifts Prices
Here’s just a few of the prices for our second hand fully refurbished stairlifts. These prices include installation and full no-exclusion warranty for a full 2 years.
Here’s one of our most popular models – the Stannah 600. The cost of these units vary according to your staircase and exact specifications.
Stannah 600 – Straight Stairlift – Reconditioned – £1,550

Second Hand Stairlifts Prices – Curved Versus Straight
Curved stairlifts cost more than straight stairlifts due to the rail customisation involved. Here’s an example cost of one of our curved reconditioned stairlifts we installed.
Stannah 260 – Curved Staircase – Reconditioned – £3,850

This stairlift was a more complicated installation with two turns in the rail, one of which was a 180 degree turn. More complex bends in the rail add to the cost of a stairlift. With a straight stairlift, the rail is straight and needs very little customisation. With a curved stairlift, the rail must be manufactured to fit.
Second Hand Stairlifts Prices – Specialist Stairlifts
In this example we are using a Flow 2a which is a specialist stairlift used for very narrow/awkward stairs.
Flow 2a – Reconditioned Curved Stairlift – £4,650

As you can see, cost varies according to your staircase and any specialist needs. If a standard reconditioned stairlift won’t fit your stairs, we would recommend a stairlift like this one. The Flow X and Flow 2a stairlifts are superb for navigating awkward and difficult stairs where other models won’t fit.
Another Flow 2 A
Here’s another Flow 2a. As you can see this staircase is very tricky, so another stairlift wouldn’t have fit.
Flow 2a – Reconditioned Curved – £4,250

Summary
Second hand/ reconditioned stairlifts vary in price according to your staircase specifications. Curved stairs require more rail customisation and hence usually cost more than straight stairlifts. If you need a specialist stairlift for very narrow/awkward stairs, this also adds to the cost.
Most standard stairlifts are calibrated for a 19 stone weight limit, so if you’re pushing the limit or are over this weight you will need a heavy weight stairlift.
All the models listed here were UKStairlifts installations and were all reconditioned models.
