In this quick guide to reconditioned stairlift prices we’ll give you the run down of what a reconditioned stairlift is likely to cost. Our reconditioned stairlifts are the most popular product we sell. That’s because we only choose the very best second hand stairlifts to recondition.
We don’t use models we consider inferior and make sure that the used stairlifts we buy are in great condition. All are stripped down, cleaned and rebuilt to the highest standards in our factory. They are meticulously tested by our team of engineers before they are sent out to be installed.
We stand by the quality of our reconditioned stairlifts which is why every reconditioned stairlift comes with a full PLATINUM GUARANTEE. All parts, labour and call out charges are covered for 2 years.
Reconditioned Stairlift Prices – Straight Stairlifts
Prices vary for stairlifts according to a number of things:
- Whether you have a straight or a curved staircase
- If you need a heavy duty stairlift
- Whether you buy new or second hand/reconditioned
Our reconditioned straight lifts start from £990 and our reconditioned curved lifts start at £2950. The cost of your stairlift will depend on the particular model you choose and your individual staircase. Long, winding staircases will incur greater costs than a straight staircase. A curved staircase is more difficult to cater for in terms of the rail which needs to be fitted. It can also take longer to fit a curved staircase too.
Reconditioned Stairlift Prices – Considerations
There might be other considerations which will affect your stairlift cost too. If you have a particularly narrow staircase, for example, or if you’re heavier than a normal stairlift can safely accommodate.
If you’re heavier than a standard lift can cater for, you might need a heavy duty stairlift. Our heavy duty stairlifts can carry a much larger weight than the standard chairlifts – up to 190 kilos (29 stones).
If you need a more slimline stairlift, which can fit a narrow staircase, you might want to purchase a specific make and model which is more accommodating.
Our Thyssen flow range, for example, are great stairlifts for narrow passages. The fold sideways and elevate backwards to give you greater leg room while you’re travelling.
